Rest In Peace, Six Degrees

I'm sad to report that another one of my favorite shows is being laid to rest. ABC debuted the show this fall and I absolutely fell in love it. The show is about the random connections people have in New York city. I love all of the actors and the characters they play, I love how everyone is linked to everyone else, I just love it!

I was bummed when they decided to cancel the show shortly after its debut in the fall, but was so excited when they brought it back a couple weeks ago to see if it could hang. Unfortunately, ABC bummed me out again and decided to officially pull the plug when it only scored a rating of 1.8 during its new Friday night time slot.

I understand networks are always trying to score the best ratings possible, and if they can replace a weak show with something else they'll do it. It just drives me crazy when I get really into a show and a network decides to pull it without even finishing out the season. I feel like I'm being dumped without any sort of explanation or closure... My DVR indicates that I'll have a few more hours with my pal , but I'm not sure it's really true. I'll miss watching you while curled up on the couch on Saturday afternoons.

Here's a little clip from the first episode:
