A Colossal Mistake

Well, I do not look like Lindsay Price; instead, I look like a weird version of myself trying to be more punk-rock than I really am and I just hate it. The above picture is the only angle this style looks good from, and if I can help it no one will ever see the hideous bangs I now have to sport. I should interject and say that my stylist is wonderful, and I don't blame her for this in any way. I just don't have a freaking clue how to style bangs and have no idea what possessed me to get them. Further more, this cut is way too short for my face and since I'm only going to be wearing my bangs back for the next three months, that red will be much more exposed -- and let me tell you it's more of a hot pink when viewed full force. I've been messing with my hair like crazy trying to see if I can do something with it but it's just no hope. If a solution hasn't come to me now, it's just not coming... I know it's just hair and it will grow out, but it's going to be the longest waiting period trying to get this baby back in shape. I'm going to drink a lot of water starting tomorrow, and I may invest in prenatal vitamins -- don't they make your hair grow faster???

.....well, my mom is a stylist and having grown up in a beauty salon, i've done so many things to my hair. no matter how much you say you'll never do something again it somehow always happens. i've done bangs about 3 times in my life.
curly hair + bangs = not cute

I do get the "i told you so" everytime! Oh well, eventually we will get it right.

It doesn't look as bad as you think. Why not use a semipermanent color over the red to cover it up a bit?

i don't think it's so bad....but then again i don't have to live with it, so my opinion doesn't count much.

as for the vitamins, they may make your hair shinier, but unfortunately, i think it's the actual being pregnant part that makes your hair grow faster. sorry.

i actually think it's really chic, but it's also not my hair and something i totally wish i could pull off.

i'm sorry you don't like it, though.

Aw, I really love it! Bangs are kind of hard to get used to. And let me tell you, almost everytime after I get my hair cut I hate it. Sometimes it takes me a couple of days to adjust to it and figure out how to style it. I think it looks so unique, hip, cool. I hope it grows on you! There are these vitamins that work kind of like prenatal vitamins called Biotin. Biotin promotes strong healthy hair and nails. I've taken it but I only lasted a week because they gave me headaches but you might look those up.
