My friend Nan has a trusted "Eyeglass Stylist," named Brian Timmer, who she relies on to pick out her eye wear and let me tell you, he did a fantastic job for her. The frames she's sporting are awesome, but what's even better than that is the super cute case those babies came with:
Koali is a European line of eyewear that "pays homage to the living and colorful world," and are designed around the beauty of insects and plants that might not typically be viewed as beautiful. If you check out their website you can compare the frames to the creatures their designs were based on.
P.S. Check out Brian's website too -- he and his wife are both extremely talented artists.

I have a pair of Morel's Koali frames for my glasses. And I bought them in Lawrence, Kansas! Mine are inspired by Heliconia, I just found out.
Do I have fellow Lawrence resident Brian Timmer to thank for getting these rare frames to Lawrence, Kansas?
They are my first pair of glasses. I had about 30 pair picked out in a yes/no/maybe pile, but then I saw these, Koali 6371k 49 18, and I knew they were the ones. My sister saw them and now she wants a pair too!
